BIBLIOGRAPHIES

The UO Disability Studies Initiative is excited to announce that a Disability Studies Bibliography has recently been compiled to serve as an acquisition guide for the newly forming Disability Studies collection in the UO Knight Library. Many of the titles are already available in the Knight Library. As funds become available, more titles will be purchased for the collection. The journal of the Society for Disability Studies. DSQ is a multidisciplinary and international journal of interest to social scientists, scholars in the humanities, disability rights advocates, creative writers, and others concerned with the issues of people with disabilities.

Journal of Disability Policy Studies
Articles are available at no cost to UO faculty and students when accessed through the Lexis Academic Universe online service found on the UO Knight Library's web page.

the Journal of Visual Impairment & Blindness
A peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal on blindness and visual impairment that publishes scholarship and information and serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas, including discussion of controversial issues. Available free online are the JVIB columns "Speaker's Corner" and "Perspectives," where those in the blindness field voice divergent opinions on critical topics. American Foundation for the Blind.

Ragged Edge Magazine
An online magazine hosted by The Advocado Press which published The Disability Rag for 17 years and has published on disability rights since 1981.

Review of Disability Studies: An International Journal contains research articles, essays, and bibliographies relating to the culture of disability and people with disabilities. RDS also publishes forums on disability topics brought together by forum editors of international stature.
